Maintaining our lands for now and the future
Koniag’s land use permitting program allows individuals to experience our ancestral lands without damaging the pristine habitat or unparalleled wilderness character that make them irreplaceable.
The cost of a Land Use Permit includes endorsements for fishing, berry picking, small game/waterfowl hunting, and non-commercial filming/still photography. Other use endorsements, such as access for bear, deer, or goat hunting can be purchased for an additional cost. Please refer to our land-use map for additional details regarding permitted land use areas.
Koniag appreciates your interest in recreation opportunities on our lands and your respect for our lands by complying with our land use regulations. These regulations allow for continued use and enjoyment of these private lands now and into the future.
